Treatment details

Luminosity is defined on the basis of two parameters: skin tone and radiance.

Skin tone or colour is determined by the amount of melanin (its exacerbated accumulation produces spots) and oxyhemoglobin in the small vessels (its increase produces redness, couperose, etc.). In this respect, IPL (intense pulsed light) is an effective treatment for this type of imperfections, which in just 3 sessions, spaced 3 weeks apart, manages to close pores, improve spots and redness, homogenise the appearance of the skin and greatly increase luminosity.

The luminosity or radiance of the skin depends on whether the surface of the skin is smooth or rough. The more depressed the skin is, due to wrinkles, furrows, atrophy, etc., the lower the skin’s luminosity and vice versa.
